#364 - Ma Maison with The (Doh) Bitches

Dinner at Ma Maison with The (Doh) Bitches. :)

Lol like some suaku tourists etc we went to take photos with the statue outside. -_-

Love the vintage setting and feel they have over there!

Even the table cloth! :)

Looking at the menu deciding what to eat!
We ate for quite some time, look at the sky outside, still so bright!
When we left the restaurant, it was pitch dark already!

 Food galore!
Escargots Baked with Garlic Butter.
Managed to convince the girls to have a go at these.
It's one of the must-try recommended by people who reviewed for Ma Maison!

They lit a fire underneath the metal bowl as well and we were like 'WOW'.
Didn't manage to capture that though. :/

Our virgin try at noming them too!
So excited and they taste surprisingly yummy!
Chewy, tender and full of garlic goodness! :D

Tools were provided for easy extraction somemore!

Since it was my first time noming such exotic stuff (well, it IS exotic to me), I just had to take a photo of it.

 And I nomed 2! :D

 Gone in minutes!

Will definitely order these again next time! :)

 Cuttlefish Ink Pasta.
Another must-try at Ma Maison!
Super nice too!
No weird fishy aftertaste for the spaghetti, but salty enough, I like! :)
Spaghetti was a little too dry and the squid inside had a fishy taste though, but it doesn't affect the overall taste.

Leaves black stains on the lips and teeth though, but it's okay because you have water to drink them away.

 Hehe playing with food. :P

Beef Stroganov with Omu Rice.
Yet another must-try over there!
Sauce was a tad too salty but the omelette and butter rice made up for it.
Plus the tender beef. *slurps*

 Japanese Style Pasta.
Looks common but it has a sweet and salty taste.
Love how the scrambled eggs and assorted mushrooms make the spaghetti taste fragrant!

Time for dessert!

Wanted to try the Caramel Pudding that many recommended but it wasn't available.
Oh well. :(

Brownie with White Vanilla Ice-cream.

Matcha Ice-cream Zenzai.

Look at the bowl made entirely out of ice!
So cool. B)

Dessert was okay only.
Guess the main courses are the only ones I'd try again someday. :)

Camwhore session before we foot the bill.
Bad hair day for me that day. :(

Asked them to try different modes!

 Lol at Raine's expression!

Time to foot the bill!
We had to bring this pretty key set to the counter. :)

Hehe, bill came up to $83 in total.
Pretty affordable and worth it seeing that it's less than $30 per person and the food's good.

Definitely worth a trip back again!

Had a fun time chatting and joking with the 2 of them too! :D
Hope to meet up with them again. :)
